Verdant Living, a Denmark-based sustainable lifestyle brand, approached Sonder with the mission of amplifying their eco-conscious message through branding and digital design. Focused on environmentally friendly products and services, Verdant needed a visual identity and website that reflected their commitment to sustainability while appealing to a growing market of design-conscious consumers.
Challenges
The primary challenge was avoiding “greenwashing clichés.” Verdant wanted authenticity and sophistication—not just leaves, recycled textures, or predictable earthy tones. Another challenge was building a scalable identity that could grow with the brand as it expanded into new product lines. Lastly, the website had to communicate sustainability while still feeling aspirational and premium.
Solutions
We crafted a brand identity rooted in modern minimalism, using a muted yet luxurious color palette inspired by Scandinavian design. The website highlighted transparency—dedicated sections showcased Verdant’s eco-impact, materials sourcing, and sustainability initiatives. Interactive infographics helped users engage with data without overwhelming them. The design used soft animations and natural visual rhythms, reinforcing a sense of harmony and balance.
Outcomes
Verdant Living’s rebrand established them as a credible and stylish leader in the sustainable living space. The new website increased customer trust and loyalty, with measurable improvements in repeat purchases. The brand successfully attracted partnerships with eco-conscious retailers, and its refreshed identity was praised in design communities for elevating sustainability into a premium lifestyle narrative.
